Passivhaus construction is a methodology which significantly reduces energy requirements and increases comfort in a building through high levels of insulation, reduced thermal bridging, low air leakage and constant fresh air provided mechanically through a heat exchanger.
We are members of the Passivhaus Trust and our ground-breaking 14-dwelling certified Passivhaus scheme at Wimbish in Essex was completed in Summer 2011. We would be delighted to talk about using the methodology for any proposed building.
